The HI-IQ school readiness program is designed to prepare your preschooler for every aspect of Kindergarten! Our preschool alternative introduces children to a combination of classroom structure and early academic skills.

We believe that one of the keys to preschool alternative early learning programs is individual attention. For that reason, we have a class size ratio of one teacher to eight students or less, with a class cap of 16 student in total. Our classes with more younger students cap out at 12.

Students attend two sessions at HI-IQ each week. In class, they are given the opportunity to socialize with other children, engage in large and small group teacher-led lessons, work independently to sharpen their academic skills, as well as one to one with instructors for hands on learning activities, games, and experiments. This setup teaches the children how to confidently navigate a classroom setting, just as if they were in a regular elementary classroom. The beauty of our Pre-K tutoring programs is that we give students the freedom to learn how to do so while developing at their own pace. This is a feature that you don’t often find in other preschool programs traditional or alternative.

We also believe in the important role that technology plays in the educational development of preschoolers today. We’ve recently added a number of tech items, including child-friendly tablets, interactive board displays, and a multi-touch table, to our classrooms. We believe that these additions will help better prepare preschoolers for the challenges they will face in both school and life.

We welcome children from 2½ to 6 years old. Each age group will focus on developing age-appropriate skills that will prepare them for kindergarten, or strengthen the skills of students who are already there.
